Last updated 26 September 2026. Calgary Costs is operated from Calgary, Alberta, Canada and follows the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s PIPA where they apply.

What we collect

When you post or write to us we store your name, email, the listing text, and the time of the request. Server logs may include IP address and browser type for security. We do not sell mailing lists.

Why we collect it

To publish your listing, to deliver replies, to stop spam and fraud, and to answer privacy or legal requests. That is the purpose. We do not use listing emails for marketing.

Cookies

Necessary cookies keep the site stable. Optional analytics or advertising cookies stay off until you accept them. See the cookie notice.

Advertising

If Google AdSense runs on this site, Google may use cookies to serve ads. You can opt out through Google’s ad settings. Ads are not allowed to impersonate a listing.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold. Write to hello@calgarycosts.com with the subject “Privacy”. We respond within 30 days.

Retention

Live listings stay until you ask us to remove them or they expire after 60 days. Messages are kept up to 18 months unless a longer legal hold is required.
